1. Overview
At D.B.Studio, we strive to provide exceptional photography services and customer satisfaction. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds of our model portfolio photography services.
2. Booking Confirmation
All bookings require a deposit or full payment to confirm your photoshoot session. Once payment is received, your booking is confirmed and the date and time are reserved exclusively for you.
3. Cancellation by Client
3.1 Cancellation with 48+ Hours Notice
If you cancel your booking with at least 48 hours (2 full days) notice before your scheduled session, you are eligible for:
- Full refund of deposit/payment, OR
- Rescheduling to another available date at no additional charge
3.2 Cancellation with 24-48 Hours Notice
If you cancel your booking between 24-48 hours before your scheduled session:
- 50% of the deposit/payment will be refunded, OR
- Credit towards a future session within 3 months
3.3 Cancellation with Less Than 24 Hours Notice
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or fail to show up for your scheduled session:
- No refund will be provided
- The full deposit/payment will be forfeited
4. Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling requests are subject to the following terms:
- First rescheduling with 48+ hours notice: Free of charge
- Additional rescheduling or rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice: Subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee
- Rescheduled sessions must be completed within 3 months of original booking date
- Maximum of 2 rescheduling requests per booking
5. Cancellation by D.B.Studio
In the unlikely event that D.B.Studio needs to cancel your session due to:
- Photographer illness or emergency
- Equipment failure
- Unforeseen circumstances
- Force majeure events
We will provide you with:
- Full refund of all payments, OR
- Priority rescheduling at your convenience with no additional charges
- Notification as soon as possible before your scheduled session
6. Weather-Related Cancellations
For outdoor photoshoots, if weather conditions are unsuitable:
- Sessions can be rescheduled without penalty
- Decision about weather suitability will be made jointly by client and photographer
- If client chooses to proceed despite weather conditions, no refunds will be provided for weather-related image quality issues
7. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed according to the following timeline:
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing (email or WhatsApp)
- Processing time: 7-10 business days from approval
- Online payments: Refunded to the same account/card used for payment
- Cash payments: Refunded via bank transfer or cash, as per client preference
- The 15% online payment discount will be deducted if applicable
8. Service Dissatisfaction
We are committed to your satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with our services:
- Contact us within 48 hours of your session
- Provide specific details about your concerns
- We will review your concerns and work to resolve the issue
- Solutions may include re-editing images, additional photoshoot session, or partial refund
- Refund eligibility will be determined on a case-by-case basis
9. Non-Refundable Services
The following are non-refundable:
- Completed photoshoot sessions where images have been delivered
- Custom editing and retouching services already performed
- Digital products already downloaded or delivered
- Promotional packages or special offers (unless otherwise stated)
- Travel fees for location shoots (if applicable)
- Third-party expenses incurred on behalf of the client
10. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be issued in the following situations:
- Service quality issues that can be verified
- Incomplete service delivery due to circumstances within our control
- Mutual agreement between client and D.B.Studio
11. Payment Method Specific Policies
Refunds are subject to the original payment method used:
- Credit/Debit Card: 7-14 business days (bank dependent)
- UPI: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfer: 3-5 business days
- Cash: Immediate upon collection or within 2 business days via bank transfer
12. Force Majeure
D.B.Studio shall not be liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, storms)
- Government restrictions or regulations
- Public health emergencies
- Civil unrest or war
- Acts of terrorism
In such cases, we will work with clients to reschedule or provide alternative solutions, including full refunds if necessary.
13. Dispute Resolution
In case of any disputes regarding refunds or cancellations:
- First, contact us directly to resolve the issue amicably
- We encourage open communication and will make every effort to find a fair solution
- If a resolution cannot be reached through discussion, disputes will be handled according to the laws of India
- Jurisdiction: Delhi courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes
14. Modifications to Services
If you wish to modify your booked services:
- Modifications must be requested at least 48 hours before the session
- Additional charges may apply for upgraded services
- Downgrade modifications may result in partial refunds based on price difference
- Subject to availability and approval by D.B.Studio
15. Online Payment Discount Terms
Regarding the 15% online payment discount:
- Discount applies only to advance online payments
- In case of refunds, the discounted amount will be calculated accordingly
- Discount cannot be combined with other promotional offers
- D.B.Studio reserves the right to modify or withdraw this discount at any time

Bookings made before policy changes will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of booking. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
